Biographical sketch
 

I graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand with a BSc. in Pharm in 1990 and received Master degree (Pharmacology) from Mahidol University, Thailand in 1993 and received Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Sciences) from University of Strathclyde, Scotland in 2004. I have worked as a lecture at Faculty of Pharmacy Chiang Mai University since 1993 where I have been an Assistant Professor since 1999. My current academic responsibility includes teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various topics for example, Pharmacotherapy (cardiovascular diseases, dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, contraception, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy); critical appraisal of clinical trials of drug treatment; dispensing and counseling; pharmaceutical care in community pharmacy and smoking cessation.  I am interested in many research areas including validation of medication assessment tool (MAT) for cardiovascular disease; smoking cessation; health promotion, health service research in community pharmacy and hospital; health outcome research; and quality of life especially in MSM (men who have sex with men).
