Biographical sketch
 

Dr. Wantida Chaiyana is interested in pharmaceutical science and cosmetic science. She does the researches in the field of delivery systems, including drug delivery system, nano-delivery system, transdermal delivery system, etc. Her interests in pharmaceutical science focus on drug development, especially liquid and semisolid dosage form. She also evaluates the release profile and permeation of active compounds from the formulations.

Her interests in cosmetic science focus on cosmetic formulation development, quality control, performance evaluation, and satisfactory evaluation. Several cosmetic products include skin care and hair care products can be developed by her research team.

Wantida received funding from The Thailand Research Fund (TRF), Highland Research and Development Institute (Public Organization), Science and Technology Park Chiang Mai University (STeP), Chaing Mai University, and Faculty of Pharmacy. She is also in the research teams that received funding from Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA) and National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).
